Can I ask a stupid question?
Why is Bennetts Field ceasing to be available in Year 4?

Pretty sure we are using bennetts field instead of the falmer school until they have finished all the building work

So I assume the club can just apply for the PP to be renewed? I assume it will just stay as a car park anyway?

It partially depends what plans the owners have for it.

The Club made assumptions about car parking availability before (for example, that the Southern Water site would be available). I wouldn't assume that every assumption will necessarily come to fruition.

Back to the players rumour, I think it would be foolish to expect us to get promoted this year and that the squad and the club is nowhere near ready yet.

So isn't it better to get "big money" (for us) signings in the low millions in January, with a view to getting them playing the Gus way THIS season, ready to hit the ground running for a real promotion push next season? Also if we wait until we are promoted, presumably the price agents would ask would go up too.

This makes sense to me - so I wouldn't be surprised if this rumour is true.

Whether the rumour is true who knows but i'd be inclined to agree with your views on adding in january to give players a chance to bed in. Last thing you want to hear is the Mickey Adams favourite... the players need time to gel, although this is not an excuse i've heard coming from Gus before.

According to the OS the plans are ready and will be submited early next year.

Interestingly if you look at the picture of Perry you can clearly see the plans for the training complex....looks impressive.

I don't know what plan is in the pipeline from Year 4 onwards, but the club only has planning permission to use it for three years.

After that, who knows?

Because after year four Mr Bennett wants to revert it back to grazing pasture for the sheep The idea is to use it as a calming influence for CP and Millwall fans when they come down.

Going by his design on desk i think it looks closer to the attachment, then the MK Dons B&Q indoor pitch. Also these are the same architects who designed Falmer Stadium.
