My vote? The Stones eclipsed the 2 year earlier Beatles release by some margin as Let it be just sounds old and passe now. Exile is as fresh as ever and arguably the Stones best ever album

Listen to Let It Be... Naked, or any one of the many, many bootlegs doing the rounds, and you'll find that The Beatles could turn their hands, their guitars, to any style, any rock'n'roll standard, the best garage band around...

Ah, fuckit, Let It Be is brilliant enough too, the harmony strumalong of Two Of Us, the timeless melody of Let It Be, the irresistibility of Get Back, the majesty of I Me Mine... :clap2:

Jo Jo was a man who thought he was a loner
But he knew it couldn't last
Jo Jo left his home in Tucson, Arizona
for some California grass

Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back Jo Jo

Go home
Get back, get back
Back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Back to where you once belonged
Get back Jo

Sweet Loretta Martin thought she was a woman
But she was another man
All the girls around her say she's got it coming
But she gets it while she can

Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back Loretta

Ah, get back
Yeah, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Yeah get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, Ooo
[
Get back, get back, get back to where you once belonged.
Get back, get back, get back...]

Out here in the fields
I fight for my meals
I get my back into my living
I don't need to fight
To prove I'm right
I don't need to be forgiven

Don't cry
Don't raise your eye
It's only teenage wasteland

Sally ,take my hand
Travel south crossland
Put out the fire
Don't look past my shoulder
The exodus is here
The happy ones are near
Let's get together
Before we get much older

Teenage wasteland
It's only teenage wasteland
Teenage wasteland
Oh, oh
Teenage wasteland
They're all wasted!

:clap2: now thats a song

Two completely different albums, the moptops quietest album really, but it makes good late night listening.
