I am really starting to find his language annoying; "connect" and "interact" with the club. FFS people just want to support their club and go to bloody matches.

People can go to matches and what industry are you in ?

The reason I ask is that most people where I work use this type of language when discussing anything business - it can be somewhat stupid but it is reality so there is nothing new to me the way Barber talks in business sense.

Basically it is just corporate speak that moves at an alarming rate and is at times pointless but people like to talk like that as it makes them feel good - just watch the Apprentice it is all there.

But this is a reply to a supporter blog, not the work place. In fact Barber has said himself that he uses business language when a press statement is released as it is aimed at many different groups involved with the club and not just supporters. So, bearing this in mind and the fact his reply was to a supporter blog I'd expect less of the business language. I think most supporters find his language absurd.

Possibly you could be right but I suspect many do understand it but if it is getting lost in translation then perhaps he should think about that.

Perhaps all communications are like this at BHAFC and perhaps that is why the catering takes so long and the instructions are so absurd and they do not understand them, who knows ?

Fair enough but this is the language of business speak, which I can on board is totally absurd at times but that is how people talk.

Thanks Walter and Thank you Mr Barber.
As well as running the club he makes time to keep in tune with the fans current thoughts both positive and negative(on NSC).
No doubt these will be passed on to Board Level.
Whilst the players and management are on holiday, he his still at work for this club.
When I met him at a fans forum (twice) I found him knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about our club.

There's too much it, take the statement on the website for example - first three or four paragraphs were just complete waffle. So much so I CBA to read them - if that's happening then it's a communication FAIL.

I think you may be right there and perhaps he will find this out when he has these representation meetings which may be when the penny drops but I suspect he has breezed in and started at the Amex as he means to go on and the way he talks.

Pre season planning started before the season ended yet players contracts were not discussed? How on earth can you plan a season with no manager, only means the style of football will 100% be the same as what poyet played otherwise it is more or less impossible.
