Bill Bell, chairman of Port Vale really is a clown. Here is a side that finished one off the play off places and has improved year on year for 3 years, and now he's breaking the team up. Have Vale built that Lorne Street stand yet? Probably not, knowing Vale. :nono:

Bill Bell is no longer in charge at Fail after they were taken over by their Supporters Trust. A guy called Bill Bratt is their chairman now. They probably will never finish that stand, I think some of the supports have corroded and it's unlikely they'll ever have enough money to repair and finish it.

Bill Bell is a twat though. Most people in Stoke-on-Trent will tell you that.

Oh and I give McPhee 3 months in Portugal before he comes home again. Not only are Beira-Mar a shite side, they recently appointed managerial genius Mick Wadsworth to be their new boss. It's going to be like Jamie Cureton's move to South Korea last year.

I spotted that too and my immediate thought was that it would be an amazing signing for Brighton, a pacy energetic forward with plenty of skill, an excellent foil for Leon. A strike force of Hayles and Knight with a little more inventiveness from midfield could produce enough goals to keep us up this time.

If we could afford his wages then I would say sign him, I fear however that the competition might be a bit stiff and he may well be another player to turn down the Albion and head for the Madstad.

That seems to be the way with moneyed clubs. Sign all the best players, then stick them on Premiership wages in the reserves, to stop other clubs signing them. Speaking of QPR, a QPR supporting colleague told me they are supposed to be signing Tommy Doherty from Bristol City. What with them having Rowlands, who I thought absolutely bossed the midfield during our league game at Loftus Road, that will give them a formidable midfield. I hate to think what they will do to us if we do not strengthen our midfield.
