If we'd been in the Premiership I'm sure you would have. There were plenty of people posting on here who wanted him fined/chucked out
I do agree, but there's a world of difference between coming on here and having a moan-up, or actually going to the trouble of making a statement to the police and expecting them to follow it up further. That is way OTT in my opinion.

I would be amazed if no Albion fans made a statement to police and/or stewards that day.

It's annoying when players goad the crowd, but we'd all do it in their position and have largely spent the previous 90 minutes taunting them for being fat, ugly, big eared, an xxx reject or whatever so you can't blame them.

Personally I think Wayne Bridge's hand-cupped-to-ear sprint along the entire length of the Stamford Bridge pitch to wind up the Pompey fans is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the season so far.

I'm definitely in the 'whining scousers' camp. However as Bozza says we can be 'whining seagulls' when we want. That Grimsby bloke came over and gave us a bit of stick about going down. Did we just take it as part of the game? no, we whinged to his club about him.

IMHO Man Utd were wrong but in the heat of the momet and under the circumstances etc with the game and league title etc etc can you really blame em.

Also note it was only three or four of em and not all of em and when Arsenal did it to Man Ure there was a f***ing uproar

:)

Believe or not I am a steward at Everton (honest) and was pitchside behind the goal after Man U scored their winner. Van Nistlerooy did unintentionally it seemed ended up right in front of the family section at Goodison and promptly celebrated right in front of them which is out of order but there is no real need to complain.

Players need to behave but I also remember Keane at Grimsby, McGleish 4 Orient and others. Sometimes its nice to hate an oppositions player though, when you see them again in the future and tear their team apart it makes it all the more satisfying.

SCOTT MCGLEISH IS A WANKER, IS A WANKER! :clap2:

What is out of order about celebrating in front of the family stand! bet you wouldn't be complaining if it was Drunken Ferguson celebrating if he netted the winner!

What is this world coming to?
