He's still only 20 contracted until June 2029, so time is on our side and we can afford to spend more than a 4-5 weeks of pre-season training sessions getting his form back. Reckon a season loan at at Championship club would be an option.
Was thinking about this the other day. In some ways a season at a promotion-chasing Championship club seems ideal... but if the player doesn't set that very competitive division on fire their value would be absolutely trashed. Maybe a top level foreign loan is better as there's less of a down side if it doesn't work out.

I’d love to know why the hunger and desire he showed when he first broke into the team here has completely disappeared. He really has looked like he doesn’t give a shit every time I’ve seen him this season. That is under three different managers too
At that age and under 3 different managers, two different clubs and his country, hunger and desire is less likely to be the problem than his body

Being able to repeatedly produce the goods is what separates the elite from the rest. For whatever, and varying, reasons some players can’t do this.

I wonder what the next step for Fergie is?

That begs the question as to why three different medical teams have passed him as fit to play then

I have never seen an Albion player have such an absolute nosedive in ability and apparent attitude. It is a very strange situation imo.

No rumours of him going off the rails and turning into a billy big bollocks either.

I reckon it's something kind of like with Solly. Can play, but needs his minutes heavily managed

Let’s hope he’s not another Francis Jeffers. I genuinely believed he was a good mix of Harry Kane and Dean Ashton. I don’t even like the sound of the Leeds loan for him at the moment. Maybe a club like Hibs or Hearts or dare I say it league one.

On the first point, I don't think they have passed him as "match fit", just "fit". Two very different things. He didn't actually get much time under Potter. RDZ had him at his fittest, but since then he hasn't actually been available to start for absolutely ages, and when he has it's usually after a long spell either injured or on the bench.

Depending on the injury, match fitness can take weeks to regain. Dunk is only now, after 5 matches, starting to look "match fit" and that's starting every week.

Dunk has never looked as though he doesn’t give a shit and just strolled around, making minimal effort and looking mardy though. Evan has…imo

I think Evan is mainly suffering from a crippling loss of confidence. Whereas before he'd get a shot off without even thinking about it, nowadays his first instinct seems to be to lay the ball off. Not what you want from your striker. Personally I blame The Curse Of The Kelly Somers Interview. About as much a Kiss Of Death to those on the receiving end as the dreaded Opera Woman

To be honest, I'm not that interested in speculating on a player's mood and attitude on the pitch. I haven't a clue whether he give a sh!t or not. To me, he just hasn't looked fit enough or energetic enough.
