Lets hope Lewry and Taylor can grab us a couple of early wickets and provide the cracks for Mushy to exploit in the Essex batting.

COME ON SUSSEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Murray was quoted by the arsegas as saying "the wicket is already deteriorating and at times it was just a case of hanging in there"

Perfect for Mushy! :clap2:

We do have the added advantage of only having to get 9 out, as Palladino is injured.:clap2:

But let's hope that no-one else gets hurt as that would stop us getting maximum points.

No. I don't think it works that way. If Palladino is injured, Essex are effectively 20/1. Although the bowling points only come into effect if we get the other 9 wickets.

Of course, I could be wrong.

Lord B's post yesterday said (b) A maximum of three bowling points to be available as under:
3 to 5 wickets taken 1 point
6 to 8 wickets taken 2 points
9 to 10 wickets taken 3 points

So if we take eight wickets and they're all out, we only get 2 points according to that.

any player absent is deemed to have their wicket taken at the end of the innings.. If we take 8 wickets and they have no batsmen left to bat they are deemed all out ie 10 wickets down.

I'm sure thats the way it works anyway..

Kent are just about to beat Notts in less than a day and a half.

Kent are looking awesome at the moment, I'm glad we played them before they'd signed Murali
