Didn't no which thread to put this in, so i'll do a new one.

Firstly - Well done Albion. They tried very hard today, gave 100%, and just fell short. The two wingers, Frutos and Carole were fantastic, and Leon took his goals well..ish!

Secondly - well done Palace. Showed they were the better team today, used the ball better than us, and hardly suprising they won.

Thirdly - The referee. Utter toss, and did seem to give everything in favour of palace...but (havent seen it on tv) i thought Robinson dived, and Blayney should have been sent off. However, what OGH was sent off for i do not know. A complete Farce.

Atmosphere - Shit for a derby, even the scum were quiet.

Game turned in my opinion when CKR came on, and Jakey came off. Personally, i think McGhee needs to take some responsibilty for that.

Think that is all - also a nice bit in the prog about NSC and Falmer.

Unlucky lads

hart was sent off for two yellow cards

one for a tackle from behind, the other for a deliberate hand ball

Well, i guess the tv shows it better, but i just saw a little push from behind, and a ball hitting him on the arm. Oh well.

Did Morrison get booked for his blatent handball?

Yes
No - They were not better, a draw would have been the fair result
Yes
Yes - Both sets very quiet, lack of a roof mainly to blame along with the away fans being in Hove!
No - Had turned before then.
Yes
Yes

Additional point, why wasnt Dodd brought on after Hart was sent off? He was sent to warm up but never appeared. 5-10 minutes to go, a ready made replacement and we stick a right winger there.

Apart from the referee bit i agree with you totally. He was abysmal. I though the sending off was right but your keeper CLEARLY handled the ball outside the area and how he wasn't sent off is anyone's guess?

They had more shots than us, and more possession than us, and scored 3 good goals.

Their subs would get into our team. I don't like them, but lets be realistic, us beating them is a MUCH BIGGER achievement than them beating us, lto be fair

The ref said he couldnt stop because he slid on the wet pitch. Was suprised he didnt get a card, although a red would have been harsh.

The penalty was definitely a penalty, got his shirt tugged. Looked a dive at first but on the replay it was a penalty. The one good decision the ref made.

He handled the ball outside the area TWICE. He even grasped the ball to his chest afterwards outside the area!!

Which is technically a red card - ask Flitney when in goal for Barnet against Manure.

Blayney was very lucky.
