I would rather stay in and watch Dan Harding play for England then go and queue up in the rain to watch what I thought would be a thrashing for them.

Erm, I didn't have to queue to get in.

It wasn't raining before or after the game, and during the game there is a roof over most of the supporters (though muggins here was by the clock and got soaked!).

And the crowd was announced as just over 2,500 I think. About 500 Hereford, so not really as good as I'd expected.

Saturday could be interesting there, though. The Old Bill were out in force last night as a bit of a rehearsal.

Who have they got Saturday then?

For the record, Eastbourne Boro lost 2-1 at home to Havant and Waterlooville after being 1-0 up at half time in the pouring rain. Boro's goal was scored by Danny Simmonds and to be honest they should have spanked the Hawks but poor finishing let them down. A crown of 683, not bad for a rain-lashed Tuesday but Boro will need to concentrate more if they are to avoid a battle against the drop.

When Aldershot last visited Crawley, in a FA cup qualifier some 5 years or so ago, they smashed up the Half Moon pub, breaking windows and punching anybody that got in their way, a few people were injured.

Also being a local derby with 1000 Aldershot fans expected together with the local yobs looking for revenge it could be a recipe for major aggro!!
