When will you stop moaning? good performance, good result. We MUST work on defending set-pieces, but apart from that Joe Cole was exceptional, and Hargreaves was absolutely fantastic.

Hopefully Rio's injury is not serious, he'd be a bigger loss than Owen. Sol's lost it since Bobby destroyed him at Highbury.
The set piece defending was poor, unusually so, but we do have a good defence.

I really do believe in staying positive, its to easy to be critical over certain parts of a game, and to be fair, they realise on what they have to work on, and i am sure they will do there best.

Why are you laughing at kev? If you didn't think it was a good performance why have you given all of the starting eleven a 7 or higher? Or do you think it's a bad result?

Terrific first half. Slick passing, plenty of movement, threats from all over the pitch particularly down the left, wonderful goal. Couldn't have asked for any more.
2nd half the Swedes really came out of the traps and put us on the back foot. The passing deteriorated, the defending from set pieces was bloody terrifying, and we ran out of steam. Thought we'd won it, but overall a draw was probably the right result.
Overall though, I'm encouraged by the display. We've shown that, given the right system with a holding midfielder, we CAN knock it about superbly. One passing movement in the first half was all of 20 passes, until the shot from the knock-back by Crouch was blocked. Had someone banged that in, it would've been EVERY BIT as good as that Argentina goal everyone is creaming over.
More to be positive about tonight. It really was a hell of a good match.

We can never push on for a bigger result. Even when we went 2-1 up the midfield relaxed.
We are just like France, cannot deliver on the bigger stage. Although, we are better than France.
I think this is all down to Sven, for a plus point.

We got the result we wanted, won the group, and good performances from Joe Cole and Owen Hargreaves which suprised me. Things can only get better.
