All of this is more important than the fact that England have now blatantly been CHEATED into defeat by Murali and blind foreign umpires who HATE US (er, I assume, I haven't watched one ball of it.)

Yes, this wouldn't have happened when we had TRIED AND TESTED ENGLISH umpires.

Muralitharan's 8 for 70 is the best ever bowling performance at the Trent Bridge, Nottingham. He betters the performance of .... surprise.. surprise .. another spinner .. the legendary Bernard Bosanquet .. who used his leg breaks and googlies to good effect - they fetched him 8 wickets for 107 runs against Australia in 1905.
Murali's performance today, apart from being the best bowling performance by any kind of bowler at Trent Bridge, also wins him the Man-of-the-Match award.

and drifting out 1.84 now

if the openers hang about they could drift out to evens or better

that would be ABSURD value

you lot keep taking Glover's tips

that was a nailed on certainty as soon as the weather was known

When Muralitharan bowls you expect wickets all the time. Our players have mental blocks against certain bowlers and they get themselves out.

If England win now it would be teh best result this summer. I somehow cant see it. 190 all out is my prediction.

What odds would I have got on England being 190 all out!

Only the third time the Lankans have won abroad

That's what happens when you don't prepare pitches to suit the needs of you bowlers. That track should have been green and seam friendly whilst offering little for the spinners, playing to our strengths. Instead it spun from day one and by day four Murali was really enjoying himself. Everyone else prepares pitches to suit their bowlers except us.

Why?
