Really pleased Lingard is doing so well this season. Playing well here as well. Not that twatgate will keep him in the squad

San Marino - 1 win in 174 matches and that was a friendly against Liechtenstein 17 years ago.

This match is a farce.

Got it on the ipad next to me, whilst I type this. Not sure which is worse - this thread or the mis"match"?

a galaxy far far away
Huge possession and territory.

31 chances. The vast majority off target or dribbled at the keeper or wrong decision taken ......

Not sure I need to finish my sentence

Just tuned in..oh it’s finished ...such a shame

I normally watch England games, but just couldn’t get any interest up for this one, not sure why.

Tuned in now, Southgate’s very impressed. Calvert and Watkins the slayers of San Marino, scoring at the very highest level.

Just a pointless fixture. Surely should be qualifiers amongst poorest teams. Just makes qualifying leagues at this stage a farce. It can be down to who scores most goals

Very boring. Well done San Marino for keeping the score down - they had a plan and stuck to it and their keeper made some great saves. But in a game like this should we have dispensed with a keeper and played 11 outfield ( do the rules permit)?
