We’ve given smaller nations a real chance of qualifying for finals via the nations league.

I normally watch England games, but just couldn’t get any interest up for this one, not sure why.
Tuned in now, Southgate’s very impressed. Calvert and Watkins the slayers of San Marino, scoring at the very highest level.

Very boring. Well done San Marino for keeping the score down - they had a plan and stuck to it and their keeper made some great saves. But in a game like this should we have dispensed with a keeper and played 11 outfield ( do the rules permit)?
Oh god, now the ITV lickers are spending time praising Villa’s brilliant season. They’ve spent £100m’s on mid table. Watkins scores against the worst team on the planet.
