I remember that night well. It was the night that my parents went to North Lancing School for a parents’ evening, and one of them did not return and never did return.

I thought I was reading the first paragraph of a book for a minute........care to elaborate a bit further into why one of them didn't return?

remember watching the first game out there,had just got a colour TV

we played in yellow,Alan Ball sent off and losing 2-0

my old man said "don't worry son,were thrash 'em at Wembley"

he was right,we did thrash 'em,just couldn't score,apart from a Clarke pen

I think about 4 or 5 Polish fans ran unto the Wembley pitch to celebrate,how times have changed
