Ahhhhh another wicket... Can't see this innings going much longer now... England would be very happy with 320 lead now...

Although 310 which they have gives them a great chance for the win.

Anyone else thinking that Australia to win at 10/3 is a good looking price?

It's certainly not bad... Aussies 311 to win... Swann could have a field day today though. He's a machine at times.

Aussies have 5 sessions to score 311. Not easy... Let's be clear here... The Aussies will need a HERO to win this... Or for England to bowl complete shite!

Australia won't get 300, so it is just the time needed to skittle them out really. 4 sessions is usually what they would aim at to do that.

As I posted that, Broad is out, so expect the Aussies in in about 45 minutes! Well played to him, even though he should have walked.

Broad shouldn't have walked full stop, for the first time England play to win, not just the taking part like we have done for years.

Blast, was hoping for a 350 lead just to be sure..... Ah well, here we go, this could set the tone for the series if the Aussies subside meekly or put up a fight. I can see a good start then a collapse due to variable bounce and swing. All out 235

Only 26 teams in test history (out of 554 attempts) have scored more than 300 to win a test match (4.7%). Teams chasing more than 300 have lost 336 times, drawn 191 and tied once. (courtesy of the BBC)
As young master Agar has shown ... this is a test match where records can be broken. There's loads of time and scope for at least four or five decent batsmen to build a biggish innings.

Very true. Aus should be at least 10/1 to win though, surely. 13/5 to do something that has never happened before (ie score over 300 to win at Trent Bridge) is very stingy.
