Very disappointing result and performance. Can't help but think that the result and whole game would have been entirely different if we had our whole squad avaliable tonight. I think Loach in goal proved he isn't up to it, and once again Walcott went missing abd didn't have any sort of impact in a very big game which could and should have boosted his career.

Anyway, they reached the final so well done to them, it is one step further than last time and more than the first team achieve

But whose fault was it they were missing? Campbell and Harts bookings were both needless.

I didn't see the game or followed the Un21's at all and this is therefore harsh. However I find it amazing that anyone thinks that Stuart Pearce is management material for anyone never mind kids who we want to tun into international footballers. Pearce is all fist pumping, passion and he doesn't come across as the sharpest tool in the box. Afraid he seems to be in the David Pleat, Dave Bassett, Micky Adams English managers camp. Sort of says what is wrong with English football. I didn't see it but I guess that England tried to lump the ball long to someone athlete who is quick up front but our ball retention / passing was non existent?

I wasn't debating that, i was simply suggesting that it would probably have been a far closer game if they hadn't have been suspended

age old though isnt it.

Beckham sent off in France , Beckham carrying injury in Japan, Owen injured in Germany, Rooney sent off...list goes on and on

Always an excuse + tale of what could of been.

They did well . Keeper cost us

rubbish performance brought on by:

too many suspensions
rubbish tactics in the final
rubbish goalkeeping (apart from the 4th goal which was superb)

heavily disappointed with it all tonight, but at least I ended with an Uncle Sams on the way home so not alls lost!
