Exactly what I was wondering - seems to be out on the right wing mostly, but ahead of the RB.

Yeah he’s basically playing right wing and, unsurprisingly, struggling a bit. His versatility will play against him some times.
Gray is being told to come in field.
Two central midfielders playing as RB and RW just because they can. Seems odd at international level.

Strange one. Probably one of the few positions I’d say he’s not really suited too. Great that he’s starting though, I guess.

He's been involved a bit more and looks really good.

It is a great game. The Portugal goal was one I love: an evil delivery across the 6 yard line.

For the opening 20 mins England were completely in control playing some lovely fast, passing football and could easily have been 4-0 up. Goals from Hackney and Nwaneri gave them a two goal lead in under 10 minutes.

Silva then pulled a goal back against the run of play in the 22nd minute and from that point on Portugal looked the more likely to score. Beadle pulled off two good saves to keep England in front and was a little fortunate to not concede a penalty when he clattered into Silva.

We have some unreal talent at u21 level. Nwaneri is a superstar and I think he only turned 18 this month.

Good watch so far……much better than the first team game
