Now that we have a pretty much full strength side available now and Campbell on the mend, what team would you like to see put out against the Welsh at Old Trafford??

Mine goes something like this (assuming Robinson will keep his place)...

Robinson

Cole
Campbell
Ferdinand
Neville

Bridge
Lampard
Beckham (c)
Wright Phillips

Rooney
Owen

Subs:

Green
Terry
J Cole
Smith
Heskey

Pretty much agree, although if Butt is fit I would have him in midfield for Wright-Phillips and put Beckham on the right. I do think with the attackers in that midfield you need one holding player.

Is Neville going to be back?

I can't see the point of playing Butt really. Hargreaves would get the nod from me ahead of him if I was going to play a holding midfielder.

Maybe, I guess with Butt he has never let England down and sometimes you need a work horse like him in there.

I am not sure Wright-Phillips should be in there at the moment, his role is probably as a 20 minute sub at the moment.

Oh and the keeper should be Nigel Martyn....

So 4 points from 2 tricky away games is a shower of shit (I know it should have been 6). Most people would have taken that before the games.

Do not care if we play like a complete bunch of fuckwits in the qualifiers, as long as we get the results and qualify.

Heskey as a sub would bring something very different to the game. There is little point having so many like for like players on the bench, Smith just gets the place on the bench for me ahead of Defoe.

Yeah good points in the bag whats annoying is that we did not look confident that team should be brushing all aside

i think ferdinand and Cambell back there will change the team for the better

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Bet he plays Butt and keeps Wright Phillips on the bench.

I would play Wright Phillips tho, also i would go with Defoe over Owen at the moment, not because i think hes better, but just because Owen hasnt kicked a ball in weeks.
