Not renowned for it but can do it. If you want someone who consistently mistimes tackles then Scholes is your man. Or Dean Hammond but I can't see him getting near the England squad. Also Hammond actually gets penalised for it unlike Scholes.

Scholes has been sent off for England due to mistimed tackles, Sweden at Wembley in 1999.

Would still have Schole in an England team over Lampard.

But he does get away with a lot of his 'tackles'.

Must admit I am more of a Lampard fan than a Scholes fan but each to their own I suppose. Tis the joy of football.
