Phew! We got away with that one, all credit to Samoa though they really played well, and should push South Africa all the way next week.

Samoa will give SA a difficult game, but somehow I can't see SA playing as badly as we did against Samoa. SA were dreadful against Georgia and will have a rocket up their arses for this one.

we were quite bad today, for some unknown reason. credit where credit is due for the samoans though, who have the smallest person in the world cup at fly half (5 foot 5) !!!!! short arse

We were pretty awful today, you don't expect this England side to make handling errors, turn over easy ball and conceed more than 10 points, let alone Wilko to be less than 90% with his goal kicking. But..we will be ready for the big games after this. We'll learn far more from this game than the Aussies will from their walkover and with Bracken. Hill, Grenwood, Lewsey and the front row to come back in we're looking good.

Italia, have a fantastic time and watch out for Stumpy Tim, he's a terrible influence on people
