Didn't watch the whole entire match, drinking at the time.

Robinson put in a great performance though.

Yeah, not convinced by Robinson either to be fair. If he is now to get injured next summer we'll be screwed.

Colchester U keeper was very good today.

I can't remember what his name was but he looked like he could do a job at a higher level.

I wasn't putting him forward for the England team!!!

Robinson- not much to do but everything was done to perfection.sign of a world class keeper...nothing to do then a world class save......9

young.....very impressive defensively better than expected and created so much space on the right....finally cover for neville....8

Rio- Sound, good passing and a couple of good interventions....7

Carragher- see rio

A cole- one of the most consistent performers we have at the moment anyone who criticises him must be mad....great flick away as harston was about to head in.....8

Beckham- Kept the play moving and worked hard.....needs time to adapt to what looked a promising formation....rarely gave the ball away....7

Lampard- See becks

Gerrard- Linked well with rooney as the most attacking central midfielder......caught out of position on a couple of ocassions....7

wright phillips- couple of good cut backs and good assist for the goal......please start him..7

joe cole......really poor....scored goal but lacked conviction with passes tackles and was sloppy.....6

rooney.....cut the defence in half a couple of times in the first half......lead the defense from the front and worked really hard as his first time playing as the lone striker....7
