The FA have announced the venues for the Engalnd home qualifiers. One of the good things about being away from Wembley is getting to go to other grounds. But now we seem to be stuck in Manchester.

England -vs- Wales
09 October 2004
Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester

England -vs- Northern Ireland
26 March 2005
Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester

England -vs- Azerbaijan
30 March 2005
Venue: St. James' Park, Newcastle

England -vs- Austria
08 October 2005
Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester

England -vs- Poland
12 October 2005
Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester

whats the point in that?!
aren't they supposed to be taking it to as many grounds as possible?

That was mainly the friendlies really.

I guess the FA want the biggest crowds possible = £££.

Best of luck navigating ticketshafter for the tickets...

managed it for the iceland friendly, after bunking off a maths lesson to come home and do it, although it may prove more challenging for a qualifier

It is. Normally the website crashes within 5 minutes, the phones then are engaged, you get through and the work expirence plank that answers does not even know there is a football match. Used to be so much easier when we sent our postal applications to the FA.

They normally sell out in an hour. Want to know if by rejoining England 'happy clappy, paint your face' fans, whether we will get any priority these days.

Also be interesting to see how many tickets the sleep violators will be getting for the game. The middle of Manchester could be a war zone as an awful lot of clubs have scores to settle with Cardiff and the view will probably be if you are Welsh then you are fair game.
