These are the eleven players not in the 1st XI so there fore a 'B' side. I like the look of it to be honest

When Smith actually gets a run in a team up front he's brilliant. After Owen and Rooney, who's actually better than him? Ashton could be if he was fit and if he regains his ability but Smith's a far better player than Crouch, Defoe, Bent etc

As much as I hate Phil Neville (just for that penalty against romania) you can't really say that he can't cut it in the senior side, after all he's got 40 or 50 caps to his name.

That tackle against Romania is the reason why EVERYONE hates him. They forget that he's won the Champions League, that he's got lots of caps and plays well week in week out, because for years he was used to fill the gap at left back when he wasn't one, and as a result he gave away a penalty.

He's actually a bloody good defender, and if it wasn't for the fact that his brother is better i expect he'd have put in a lot more good performances for England in his real position.
