There were strong rumours this morning that somehow Spain & Portugal (why the hell does it take two of them to host it??) had come in from nowhere to be in a strong position. Spain has loads of football stadia and has hosted a World Cup before so why do they need Portugal?

I was convinced days ago that this is all bent as a nine bob note, along with everything else FIFA get up to, and I see no reason to change that view now.

Please don't start blaming Panorama, as this has been a total stitch up from the start.
