Engand did their best to hand the initiative to Pakistan, Roy aside they batted very poorly and had more than their fair share of luck. The atmosphere was excellent but you couldn't help but think while watching that it was yet another super spreader event.

Yes it seems that Malan is just not a good T20 option for the way England like to play. Apart from being out of form, he is just too slow to get going. Much better for 50 over game.

I would like to have seen Salt & Roy opening with Buttler dropping to no.3.
