Now you've all had a couple of hours to calm down a little, the big question is, do you think you will finish above us this season? First Palace (top flight) win double over Brighton since 1932/33. Play nicely, as ever, i'm here in peace (have family in blue and white) and have been for a long time!

With Palace away in 2 successive games to Man City and Newcastle and with one eye on the SF, they'll do well to get anything more than a point.

The suspensions coming from today's game will have some effect.

Albion are home to Leicester next. A reaction is needed and should be provided. I can see the 4 point gap increasing at least temporarily.

It may well narrow in time, but Albion still to finish above Palace at the end of the season. We'll be 8th, 9th or 10th, you'll be 11th or 12th.

Other than a double over us, Palace's season really hinges on 1 game now with a possible one to follow.

It will be close. Unfortunately the gap has been tightened cover the last 2 seasons due to the injuries we’ve had. It would be interesting to see how palace would cope with missing so many players for such a long period.

I think they did have it happen at the start of the season
Is that right Skinback?

Never mind all that, question I want answered is how come you’re the family black sheep? Dropped at birth? Napoleon complex? Or just like Trams? Also, have you done an ancestry DNA just to check you’re definitely related to blue and white? I just couldn’t comprehend. My own family? At a push I’d send a Christmas card. Without a stamp…naturally.

Injuries, players signed on deadline day, Internationals needing rest etc, it was a tough start.
Losing Riad (CB) and Doucourè (CM) for almost the entire season has hurt, if Richards can't recover and a 7 day concussion enforced on Laqroix, we'll have lost all 4 CB's with Guehi's red!
Interesting next few games.

Hehe, wife's family this end all Palace, down in Sussex, all Brighton! All good banter at family get togethers.

We should still finish above you.
I hope we finish well, but our form has dropped off a cliff since losing Giorginio and Webster.

You will need to pick up some big results to breach the gap and I suspect the FA Cup will become a distraction at some point.
I'm hoping City/Newcastle/Bournemouth/Villa/Arsenal in 14 days will keep you at arms' length.

But with the form you're in, who knows?

Hang on your wife’s family is Palace and your family is Brighton, and you’ve chosen Palace? Or have I misunderstood?

To answer the question I think Brighton will finish above Palace.

I think if we ever won the League you'd still finish above us ...

Since we've been in the PL you've finished above us, what, five times out of seven? Frankly I'd settle for making that six times out of eight as long as Villa beat you in the Cup as I have a horrible feeling that if they don't you'll go and bloody win it.

Or we'll finish 8th above them and they'll take our European spot through the cup. Worst case scenario.

I think the top 7 are done.

We're 8th to 10th with Fulham and Bournemouth.

That Fulham win over Liverpool yesterday could be the decider come the end of the season.
