Oh i see snobbery now is it? Because only nice middle class people come from Sussex don't they?!

It was a joke, mate, and I was just making the point I don't live in a caravan.

I lived in Gypsy Hill for two years and really liked it as I used to go the park and the sports stadium a lot.

Sometimes I really dispair of this town. What were those kids who sneaked in behind the goal, screaming Wigan and 'going down, going down' all about?

Can you imagine the local kids in Stoke or somewhere doing that? Probably all Man U, Chelski or some other TV inspired supporters, twats....

I blame the parents, my daughter doesn't really like football (too girly) but she knows she supports the Albion, hates Palace and is proud and understands how lucky she is to come from Brighton...

I'm very proud of East Sussex,I agree with your assessment of TV inspired supporters, but, just consider the source, remember when you were young?

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
After being BORN in Brighton I had to grow up in Scotland, but even in the darkest hours of being beaten sensless by about 10 ginger twats high on Irn Bru and Tunnocks teacakes for being ENGLISH, I never for one minute felt ashamed of where I was from.

After going to Uni in Liverpool I couldn't agree more.

You could never be embarrassed about coming from Brighton. Greatest town in the country

Also went to Uni in Liverpool though and wouldn't have a word said against it. Cost me a fortune in hub-caps though.

From where I live now, I have to pass through Portsmouth to get to every game, so constantly reminded how lucky we all are.
