just to clear up the mixed messages on the site as to what stands n sections brighton have been allocated, i hope this is of help to you all, you have the upper tier of the north stand (sold out) you also have a quarter of the doug ellis stand both upper and lower, if you need tickets in the home ends then the north stand lower tier has seats still on genral sale, they are coded blocks R1 to R7, if you want tickets in the doug ellis upper then go for blocks P8 OR P7, hope this clears a few things up for you and is of help,

Nice one, I'm flying in from Spain so won't be able to do anything other than turn up on the day so this is where I can get in I take it. Tickets on sale on the day?

Top man Andy Capp - we're going for lower north stand as villa in disguise. It's a win win really. If BHA lose we can take the piss out of our mates with a chuckle. If Lord Lucan turns up and we somehow win, it's worth going bonkers and getting chucked out; we'll be martyrs in the eyes of our Sussex brothers

Evening Andrew, to late, already got my ticket thinking the Albion had both tiers behind the goal and found out this evening they haven't and have since realised that I can get a ticket behind the goal.

Just ordered another one so at least I've two options and might even sign up for a white member even thou I am white

ello helter, it has really suprised me how villa have allocated brighton tickets in such a way as they have, would make sence in my opinion to give you the whole north stand, would have meant you got an extra 400 tickets aswell, i really think villa have under estimated what brighton would sell, most of the ground has only got limited availability left

Think we have a snitch on our board so the stewards, police will looking out for the Albion faithful amongst the villa fans.

I’m getting the 10.10 from Euston, got my camera so will put up pictures of my travel, fans and day experiences.

Watch this space .......

Evening andycapp - thanks for the genuinely friendly & helpful info over the last few days.

Re: Blocks P8 or P7 - I saw on the Villa website last night that those sections are next to the away fans. What are the chances of any Villa nutters being in there, so they can engage in some not-so-friendly exchanges with our fans? You do get that at some grounds.

I'm taking my lad, so don't wanna be in the middle of any crap! I know you said on here the other day to avoid the Holte!

Is it more likely to be the decent Villa fans (who I remember/worked with in my 15 years spent in Brum, up to 2005!) that will be up in those parts of the Doug Ellis?

Also, if we are in P8/P7, any chance that the stewards might move us in with the BHA fans? Do you know if the Villa Park staff put the 'segregation line' at a point in the DE stand that allows for a 'few' more BHA fans than the number of tickets given to them (esp as this game surely won't be a complete sell-out)? How 'panicky' are your stewards likely to be about some BHA being in those blocks?

Cheers, Paolo

most of the problems regarding away fans in the home end, occurs in the holte end and the trinity rd upper middle sections, the usally segregate the fans by leaving a few rows of seats empty, but they WILL NOT move you into them, by n large if you behave and dont go screaming your head off you will be ok, trinity road has a lot of familys seated in it normally
