He played for Bath aand Bristol ( he may have been skipper at Bristol) and was close to teh England B side at one time. I saw him play against Exiles and he was a decent player if unspectacular

I think he captained Toulon towards the end of last season. Toulon now seem to have more English players than French.

yeah - Joe's a good player. Never quite made the grade for us at Bath, but was very close.

Not sure I agree re Adam on Tuesday though BB - he needed to do what he did to avoid the Brentford player breaking away from the last line. There was no malice or excessive force - he just made sure the striker wasn't going anywhere!

Joe was a class footballer too when he was younger.

Thought he would turn pro.

I remember playing in the final of a tournament against him and we got beat 4-1. He scored all 4!

Joe was a bit of a sensation around the mini-minor league for saltdean utd, and he was playing at a higher age group!

Well done to him & his family can be proud.
