On ITV4 now, they've made it unwatchable.
40 minutes into a 90 minute programme, (presumably still) three divisions to cover and we've had highlights of two games so far, various inane interviews and a minute of fan videos.
Just started their 3rd game highlights, the one that anyone interested watched last night or saw the score or highlights earlier

A couple of featured matches plus a dash through all the goals of the rest isn't a bad formula - but perhaps better if the featured matches included one from League 1 or 2.
It's a shame one of the minor channels doesn't just specialise in one of the lower leagues, like Channel 5 (I think it was) covered the National League (then the Conference) a few years go. That used to be quite enjoyable.

I’m not against cutting out the chat. The fact is none of the pundits are across everything that’s going on in the lower leagues - there are just too many teams to talk about them all with real insight. Plus the turnaround of the show on a match day means they won’t even have been able to see half the stuff well enough for a properly informed opinion so it just becomes waffle.

**having now watched it, they spent far too much too much time on the various reactions to the Plymouth game.

Yeah, I thought the interviews were decent. She asked follow up questions basis the answers and there wasn’t any ‘how happy are you about scoring that goal’ crap. I also liked the format.
How excited were you to tell us about that?
And how disappointed are you that I asked such a silly question? ???
