Responsible for spotting the talent in Schumacher and giving him his F1 debut.

Not being a follower of motor racing and only having a passing knowledge, for some reason I was picturing Bernie Eccleston when I was reading this thread and so was puzzled by all the positive comments.

Listening to R5 earlier they played an extract from Jake Humphreys(yes I know, but) - he was really very upset and in tears talking about Eddie Jordan.

The only time I ever saw him in real life was when I passed him in his open top car, with a very obvious personal number plate (EJ04DAN, or similar) surrounded by several blonde women on a sunny day looking like he was enjoying every moment.
