Now I have read this about 20 times now and I cant see this being a con.

All I would stand to lose is £3, and a lot of wasted time.

Each new sender adds himself to the bottom and send to 40 people and in no time at all, I think it's about 10 iterations or so, half the country are trying to get the other half involved.
