Hadn't noticed that. Excellent news - this means I can have my Easter ski trip without missing any matches

Bit of a double edged sword. On the plus side I had a massive row with Albion Girlfriend last year when I did the weekend in Blackpool and then promptly went straight to Rushden on the Monday, but on the other hand the Easter games generate bumper crowds, not that it makes any odds to us as we will be selling out week in week out again.

We're one of the big clubs now, innit. On the same level as West Ham, Sunderland and Leeds.

I could understand if it was a regular Banbk Holiday and peopl didn't get the Friday off, but staging it on Good Friday will make no odds, everyone will be off anyway. Ho hum, at least we get an extra day's rest.

How can a beer festival be RUINED by an England match ?

PUB + BEER FESTIVAL + ENGLAND = FECKIN' EXCELLENT NIGHT

Mind you, my night at the Cricks last time ended up

PUB + BEER + ENGLAND + ZIDANE = (BEER GLASS + WALL) = STORMING OUT IN A SAVAGE RAGE

:dunce:

Not sure if the festival will have a big screen or an TV with the games on...that would mean wandering into shoreham town to find a pub (plenty) but missing out on the ales for 90mins.....90MINUTES lost festival time  x2 for both matches!

Feck Sepp Blatter for pushing us around with his international fixtures and spoiling a traditional weekend of real footie.
