From my experience local independent agents tend to try the hardest as they often are not trying to sell a mortgage at the same time as the big corporate ones do. A good agent will have lots of buyers on their database & wont wait for rightmove enquiries. Lots of property nowdays is sold off market by agents without ever going on Rightmove etc
