Missed the Cardiff game as was on my hols.

First experience today was excellent.

The concession stands are twice the size of the WSU so we technically had 4 compared to their 3. loads of pies, never ran out, I walked straight to the Hophead/Harveys stool after the whistle for half time and was first in the queue, and easily got a couple of pints after the game as soon as i left my seat.

Even managed to get a 2nd pie at halftime with only 5 mins till kickoff.

Agree - ESU is great. Queues very short. Even found a sweety stall.
Good layout for pre match beer & pie.

One small gripe - seems to be more ladiees loos than gents.

My first time at the Amex this season too and I have to say, the east stand looks SO much better with that second tier.

Was there as a one off due to someone else not being able to make it. Absolutely loved the view, good atmosphere (though not on same scale as NS of course) and would love to get a ST up there if I could afford it!

Yeah I noticed that. Granted women piss a lot more but there was definitely more men in the stand and we of course drink more beer.

Yeah I noticed that. Granted women piss a lot more but there was definitely more men in the stand and we of course drink more beer.

May have to frock up for the next game - it'll be a Friday night so will probably be drinking more.

We had sweets in the North, but no Hophead (that I could see). I'd be bang up for some of that before a game. Would be nice to have a kiosk doing the away brew as well, gives us ale drinkers a bit of a variation

We had a stand selling Bottled Heineken.

It would create a nice ambience and somewhere to sit and eat a pie.

ESU was wonderful today, amazing atmosphere and brilliant view, I doubt I will get tickets up there again for a while on a match by match basis but today had been an amazing experience

All sounds very "sweet" in ESU but think I will stick with the more macho WSU. Great atmosphere.

Very impressed with the East Upper this afternoon. I was a bit sceptical about getting a Season Ticket in the East Upper, but the views, access, facilities and fans are top notch in the ESU.
Yes, Candy Wagon and Frankfurter Wagon exist in the East Upper at half time as well.
