Try contacting "Seagulls over London" I think I've read about them on here. Basically met weekly in The Royal Oak pub in Tabard St. near London Bridge station. Good luck.

I live on commercial road, so not far from whitechapel, and believe me it is not posh. Its a decent area for a night out though as only a few minutes from brick lane, old street, and shoreditch.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
If i'm talking to scruffy people who have a touch of ALT to them, then i'll say i live in Dalston and frequent the grimier bars though (even though i very rarely do and only ever go to Sainsburys, Specsavers and the bloody wonderful Rio cinema). But if i am talking aloofly to some likewise snoots then i'll rabbit too that i reside in Highbury and eat £15 Sunday lunches and have a grooming hound called Horace.

I now live in SE London New X/Brockley. Used to live in Whitechapel (Whiteshizzle, or Blanchapel as we used to call it) and absolutely loved it there at the time - the area is a bit trendified for me now though! Prefer to be in Deptford/Peckham/New Cross for the old East London vibe.
