I agree! I got to WSU concourse at 11.15 and was absolutely appalled that there was NO queue to join when I bought a beer. Surely the club could have the foresight to recognise this failing and provided a queue. I mean it really smacks of tin-pottery of the highest order. Sort it out Barber!

We are in the WSL family stand, I stayed till the end and stomped out, after twatting the empty seat in front of me out of frustration, on the final whistle. Expected to get piss wet through with two young kids in tow, had a horrible hang over (I don't really drink but for some reason half a pint of baileys seemed like a good idea at 10.30pm NYE, didn't make 12pm). Stood in the que for mill road p & r for same amount of time as normal back at the car 45 mins after final whistle and home in total 1h 35m after game end.

If I left on 85 mins that would reduce the wait but a whopping 20 to 25 mins. SO WHY DO FOLK BOTHER LEAVING EARLY 25 mins is bugger all. It costs a small fortune to go to the games at least stay to the end.

P.S. we were in our seats eating pie, burger and a hot dog for the youngest by 11.10am making it look untidy.

The only time leaving early is of no benefit is if you catch a coach.Usually they don't leave until 20/30 minutes after a game.It's such a luxury watching a game knowing you can just stroll to your comfortable coach and not have to queue up at that tiny insignificant built for a village train station.

You wouldn’t leave the cinema and miss the last 10 minutes of a film would you !!!

Actually most do leave early, as soon as the credits come up and then miss a special bit right at the end in some films.

Although a STH I didn’t go to the game but I promise I stayed in the lounge to the end of the match before rushing off to get a sausage roll and a cup of tea from the kitchen.

You have seen the queues for transport to take supporters back to wherever they came from haven't you?

If you haven't for some freakish reason let me tell you they are freakishly long. Nobody likes a queue therefore they tend to try getting to the front by leaving early, it's a problem caused by the rules regarding parking your own car nearby therefore most have to use the services provided (Excellently) by the club which are often very busy thus have long queues. Geddit? People miss the end of the match because of this.

I actually find the numbers of early leavers quite useful as an indicator of the numbers of 'fans' likely to opt out of staying the course in the event of a return to the Championship. Face it, if you care so little about the outcome of a home Premier League fixture with a lunchtime kick-off delicately poised with five minutes to play, then you're hardly likely to give very much of a **** about the club's fortunes as a whole. At least most of the early leavers have the good grace not to wear the stripes. Can you imagine the shame of getting off the Early Leaver Express at Brighton station, an interested bystander sees you wearing the stripes and asks you what the score was and you're forced to shrug and admit 'Dunno mate, I left before the end'

Most people find out from their phones nowadays, so wouldn't have to admit it.
