Whilst I'll never wish any one ill, it's no surprise that these parasites live well beyond the age, with quality, of the majority of people's parents on here.

The Royals have the best doctors in the world checking them out every day, at out cost.

If only my mum had the same level playing field, eh?

Happy Christmas Mum, I'll always love you, and never forget you. xxxxx

Exactly this.

I think he's hilarious and have always had a soft spot for him, not least because we share a birthday (although I am not 90. I'm actually 95). Hope he pulls through.

He is one royal I do struggle to hate.

The Duke of Edinburgh has heart surgery for blocked coronary artery - Buckingham Palace.

No NHS waiting list for him then!!!
It's an emergency treatment and Papworth is an NHS hospital. He is 90 and did an 11 day tour of Australia in October with the Queen so he hasn't be able to retire. He served as a regular in the Navy during the war and afterwards even when married. He's ok.

You cock. My dad had that last year, rang 999 ambulance took him in and was operated on asap.

I am sure your father got very good treatment in an emergency, although I doubt many 90 yr olds would be flown by helicopter to the best heart surgeons in the world at Papworth.

Sandringham isn't that far from Cambridge and, after all, it is the ROYAL Air Force, so why shouldn't one take advantage of one's wife being in charge?

Surely the best heart surgeons are the yanks...many 90 year olds I know have a hospital down the road. Many 90 year olds dont live in a stately home far from a hospital.

Big Cuddly Pandas.
