Good work, OTLW. I had a similar session between 7th April and 30th May this year, which followed a rather unfortunate night after drinking Chimay Blue on an empty stomach (after having several drinks before). Quite honestly, any alcohol tasted foul for the next few weeks. Is this temporary or are you intending to stick to the "soft stuff" in future?

I am an alcoholic (have been for 14 years) now in recovery thanks to the support of AA and a massive bunch of friends here on NSC
Thanks everyone

OTLW - this is really positive news as I imagine the hardest part has been done.

Stay positive and keep up the good work and remember, if temptation strikes, think twice and if required PM any of us anytime for moral support.

Great news OTLW. Let's hope the music collection doesn't get out of hand now :)

We're all proud of you. It took guts to admit to yourself, even more to do something about it and yet more to admit it to us lot here.

The boy done goood.

Congratulations and keep up the good work. Having experienced a similar problem with gambling in the past, I know how hard an addiction can be.

Don't say that you actually believed Gareth's tips. :)

I've been going through a dry spell too. My addiction to celibacy is becoming a tough nut to crack.
:)

Excellent stuff OTLW.
Keep up the good work mate.

I've been dry now for almost 15 years. Boy does it feel good. Good luck in your own battle.

Cheers fatbadger ... I can't get over the amount of energy I now have and psychologically a lot calmer and more positive outlook on life ....

Life is great
