Just had a word word with my son (19) who's a drummer and is currently doing Music Tech degree at Broadwater. He says he's got too much on with his other projects to join another band, but he'll have a word with another couple of guys and see if they're interested.

My brother is also a drummer, but as he's 52 and is currently playing in a Country and Western band I don't think he's quite what you're after!

Definitely try sticking up some flyers at local rehearsal rooms though, that's the way to go if you ask me!

good drummers are hard to find, and when you do find one its hard to just 'click' but good luck.

or they live in Wales, are the wrong side of 40 & spend far too much time at work to be able to find the time to resurrect that promising rock & roll career.... (me )

Age isn't that much of an issue tbh, as long as you like to rock the hell out behind a drum kit and are not a complete arsehole then its all good. Anyway did you fine people get the word out to friends, friends of friends, sons and daughters re drummer yesterday? After this Saturday our next gig would be 24th Feb so there is still possibly enough time to get someone in to learn a 45 minute set.....maybe. Also todays the day the last two members of the band get told the rubbish news bout our drummer leaving. I like to call it heavy shit Wednesday.
