I thought Butters looked finished towards the end of last season, but I've been quite pleased with him this year. As long as we can put pace alongside him, then he is going to do a very good job for us this season.

His experience is very important to the side as well. Some games he's probably the only player who has needed to shave all week.

I agree with that. The defence has been leaking goals all season and of course Butters has to shoulder some of the responsibility for that, but I wouldn't consider dropping him at this point. Despite the 3 goals conceded against West Ham I though him and Lynch were very good.

The thing is though Questions, nobody actually knows what Ernest's opinions are do they? He cannot bring himself to actually contribute to any discussion, in any form whatsoever, without resorting to his one 'hilarious' joke stance.

I would love to know what the guy really thinks about the various issues surrounding the club, manager, Dick Knight, Falmer, etc, as from what I am told he is a decent die-hard Albion fan. However, I have given up hope of that happening as he insists on continuing with the mindless drivel.

I just feel that he could make a more constructive contribution than his unfunny joke posts.

I also think that a large guy in his late forties, who has the fortune to end up with a beautiful wife in her twenties, should have the imagination to find better things to do with his time than pretending to be gay on the internet. But that's a whole other debate entirely.
