I've had quite a few dreams where we left the Goldstone but it wasn't demolished. Then, for reasons I can't remember, we had to go back to play there although it was all (even more than it used to be) run down. Never more than a few hundred people watching either.
I think my weirdest football dream was taking part in a World Cup penalty shootout but in a house and with a balloon for a ball. And I took the second England penalty after Claire from Steps scored the first one. Think that was the night I learnt that Night Nurse and whiskey don't mix.
