Drawing a 'big' club away

Is it the occasion it's bigged up to be or is it just watching a group of young players you don't recognise wearing a familiar strip in a less than full stadium?

Depends who you draw, Im sure the £500k in the bank would ease the clubs pain.

Depends which big club it is I suppose, Arsenal or Man U and you are probably right but can Liverpool afford to risk a weak squad even against us given their current position. All the others like Everton, Villa, City etc... I think would field a strong team.

Well on experience, Spurs and West Ham were both watching players we DID recognise in a familiar strip in a FULL stadium.

Personally I'd love us to get Newcastle away, merely because I've got a bit of Geordie blood in me, but have never been there. Knowing my luck though, Plymouth would beat them in the 3rd round replay!

You can't beat an away day at one of the big clubs - big away following, a few beers, great atmosphere etc...........and the inevitable defeat!

I hope we get Arsenal/Chelsea or Spurs away. Failing that either Liverpool or Man U (if they get through) away.

Torres and Gerrard both played yesterday, granted Reading are a better side, but it was a very strong team. Spurs put out what appeared a very strong side, and so i feel would other teams if we drew them in the 4th round. Only exceptions would imo be Arsenal, Chelsea and United, possibly city.

We will be out next round regardless so the best bet is a home game or arsenal,tottenham,man.u or liverpool away.Or for the fans palace away
