They are running a Dr Who marathon on BBC in the States at the moment. I just saw “Blink” which is an absolute classic IMHO. Having seen some of the recent dross you realise just how far this series has fallen.

The Christmas Specials are always a bit flimsy compared to the main series. I enjoyed tonight's effort though, probably the best Yuletide edition we've had for a long while.

Agreed. I thought it was pretty good, even though overall I've been generally a bit disappointed with the show under Moffat.
