You really do need to get some more tv channels veg. The BBC dropped Count Arthur Strong but persevere with all manor of dross. A female Doctor Who ? Deary me.

I loved Count Arthur Strong. Rory Kinnear was brilliant and the hospital episode a comedy Tour de Force. Many times at work I've quoted his phrase Count style 'I'm sorry, that is beyond my level of expertise.'

Back to the Doctor though, playing in it like a manic Hilda Ogden running around in ankle boots, being a yakky, gurning northerner with a solve all magic screwdriver was never going to be my thing. Haven't been able to stand watching most episodes, but the Crimbo one wasn't bad. Personally, I can't stand her and good riddance. Only 8 more episodes and she'll be gone.

It's all a question of taste, but Count Arthur Strong was absolutely unwatchable to me.
