In a crater in the sea.
I'd prefer them to keep him on; they'll have a real chance of finishing bottom. It's not about bringing in a new face to galvanise the squad and fans.

Hang on, weren't they on here a few weeks ago saying he's the most promising young manager in England? How things change... I guess CPFC2010 were right when they called their own fans fickle.

I remember when they were outraged Poyet won the Manager of the Year award ahead of little Dougie

i dislike Val Doogiegan. He has Panda Eyes. Panda eyes are normally cute, but his are red like Doog has been on the Doob.

Lose the next 3 and he's gone I reckon. There's a handy international break weekend after that to hunt for a replacement.

This. People calling for Gus' head after one CUP game this season? That would NEVER happen on NSC...

Why would Palace want to sack him ? The Nigels are already moaning that the new replacements are only L1 standard which will be used as the excuse when they're relegated.

He was a cheap option who is doing an okay job given the limited budget.

See my other thread which I can't be bothered to find where I spoke to a close friend of one of the owners. They have little aspirations on the field so Doogie is safe for this season at least.

After an amusing few minutes on the Doomed Doogie thread, I had a quick nose at a few others. The advert that popped up quite amused me:

Apologies if fixtures - not in the habit of trawling BBS and for I know ALL the adverts may be for caravans...

Parish has been quick to deflect all fan criticism onto dooogie. 3 more defeats and the moaning and booing will be at meltdown.

Keeps the pressure off Parish, doesn't it?

We need to campaign on Doogie's behalf-we don't want him fired just yet.

Indeed. Need his sacking to be as a result of us turning them over at Selhurst in December :D

I would rather wait for the thrashing at The Amex which seals their relegation in March. If he goes in December they could bring in Russell Slade

Lost the first badly tonight. Reckon the 'world class' Palace players need to start performing - Dougie is TOAST unless he wins at least 1 of the next 2.
