I think you should qualify that remark.

Chippy has been a great servant to the club and has been a big part of our successes over the last few years.

When Loft has proved himself to be in the same league then you can start making comparisons.

However, if you were just referring to the current Chippy we have in the team, who is a shadow of his former self, then Loft may already be an improvement.

Not that I've seen Loft play yet (I don't think), but he's taking a big step up and I hope he can make it. I also hope that Chippy can return to being the player that he was.

This has been written many times on this thread, but judging/slating a player after just 30 minutes of championship football, having made a huge leap from non-league :nono:

That sort of thing can wreck your confidence. I hope Lofty doesn't see this thread!

With respect 1066, how many times have you seen Chippy play?

The guy hasnt had a great year by all accounts, but he is playing deeper than usual and has pershaps returned to action too soon, due to inuries etc.
