f*** sake.
Loft comes on for 25 minutes in a game where the whole team has been f***ing abysmal for the preceeding 65, and because he doesn't turn in a Zidane-type performance and single-handedly turn the whole game, he gets singled out for abuse.

He barely had a chance to make an impact, and was certainly no more "abysmal" than Chippy and Hammond had been for the whole game. Why not just BACK OFF and at least give the fella a chance before slagging the guy off.

Jees.

around half an hour yesterday showed me he is not good enough. f*** me he could be the new David Lee, infact he is WORSE!! what a pile of shite, he can't pass, shoot or tackle. What the hell is going on with our scouting? we are plucking average players out of non league and putting them in a Championship team. Crazy.

How can you criticise him? He is young and still learning, to me he looked very quick and could be a right handful when he gets more experience.

What happened with Loft was,the rest of team knew he was crap and didn't play him in the game.He stood around all on his own for nearly all of the second half with his dick in his hands.Thought he might score late on with that strike but otherwise he was poor.

and as for his shot at the end, that summed him up, woeful, unmarked just outside the box and he couldn't even hit the target let alone get enough power to cause any problems. Seriously poor player, doubt he will play than 10 games for the club, of course, I hope I'm proved wrong!

Look on the bright side it wont matter if he isnt good enough for the championship next year

will it matter that he's not good enough for league 2 either though?

I just find it amazing that in a match where the entire team was utter garbage for 90 minutes, someone see's fit to turn on the player who's not even played half an hour of League football yet. OK, Loft was far from spectacular, but I dunno what the hell you expect from a young lad who's been plucked from non-league and chucked into a shit Championship team.

I'm sure your comments will be of great help to the lad.

Well I hope he makes it, if only because it means Mejona012 can make some more "loft conversion" gags.

Hinsh gave him a right talking to and Butters, to name but one, was derermined not to give him the ball. David Lee flashed thru' my mind when he was eventually played in and I thought for such a skinny chap his redeeming feature might be his speed, but alas no.

I genuinely felt sorry for him, as The 2nd Division is a big stage to play, especially when making the step up from non-league, after all it's not his fault that he was selected to play out of his depth and it's the management in the broadest sense who should be called into question over the continuing stream of players being brought in to do a job, which they are not at this stage of their careers at any rate, cut out for.
