Interestingly enough, Cr***a* P***** play Watford on Tuesday who are directly above them and I may go along with my Hornets supporting mate. If Watford win that will put them 7 points clear of Cr***a* P***** with a game in hand and they will be 5 points from safety. Here's hoping...

I think they're doomed, as they still have to play Doncaster and Forest away, and Middlesbrough and Newcastle at home.

Your only saving grace is they still have to play Watford and Peterborough.

How much is it likely to cost to get there by train, and how easy is it to get to? i'm also thinking about going.

By train you can either change at Clapham and get the line that runs up West London (passing Stamford Bridge) or go through the tube and get a train out of Euston....Then in it is about a 15min walk from Watford Junction through the town to Vicarage Road. As for price, I am not sure as I will use my annual season ticket to blag my journey up there if I go.

We need Wednesday to start picking up points now. If Watford win on Tuesday they are 7 points above Palace with a game in hand and realistically it will mean Wednesday are the only team Palace can catch.
Of the remaining games I think they'll beat Preston at home (mid-table nothing to play for) but other than that can't see them picking up many points. The real question is though do we want them to go down this season and have the get out of jail free card of claiming that the points deduction sent them down OR survive by the skin of their teeth and spend next season with a motley assortment of freebies and kids getting tonked week in and week out? I wonder whether a long slow death while Selhurst grows emptier by the week would be better? Still it's a nice problem to have!!
