The Goldstone, if it was to meet the requirements of todays laws* re seating etc, what would the capacity have been?

*less the fact it was a Asbestos ( Chrysotile) built ground!

East Terrace might have seated 3,500,
West 5,000, N &S about 2,750 each. Filling the corners might make 3,000 more.
A guesstimate 17,000 unless they built 2-ties stands and made it more like Derby County's ground, cramped into a small area like that.

In keeping up with the times we may have stayed in the 3rd and 4th divisions and got regular 8,000+ crowds
