Very true. Feels good not to waste too much time, emotion and energy this time round on England. Fair play "Roy's Boys" did better than I expected. I am more concerned if and when Vicente will sign.

this, although I enjoyed the England match it made me more anxious for our season...spent halftime looking up the travel options for Hull and Burnley away!

Started to think sod it - used to have 2 or 3 days of grief with that sick feeling in the stomach, the waking up the next morning to think shit we are out.
It is the Euros - greece and denmark have won it !
The penalty shoot out luck will go our way in 2014 - when it really matters.

46 years of hurt now :-(

It's depressing.

Still not long till the Albion kick off :)

Badiel and Skinner were blessed with '30 years of hurt' as a decent rhyming lyric in 1996. I don't think anything since would have rhymed as well.

46 years of hurt
44 years of hurt
42 years of hurt
40 years of hurt (debatable)
........

it will never change with the dinosaurs in the FA

Especially when SKY are greasing their palms. The Albion are far more important to me than the over-paid, over-rated, under-achieving group of premier league wankers (doesn't apply to all of the England squad but a large number of them). Bollocks to England. That crappy f***ing band sums up English football-stuck in the 60's with no hint of change ever coming.

I do care about England and our national game, our style of play tonight was embarrasing and inept.......... plucky old England, where failure is accepted, and finishing second or third is seen as achievement.

We want to win, Germany had systemic problems in their game, their FA addressed them from grass roots level and now the fruit is they play an excellent system.

Its not impossible, but I just don't think our FA has the vision to really do anything, theyre outdated dinosaurs

Here
Albion first, England second - always, always, always. Couldn't really give a monkey's about tonight's game, it was just all so incredibly predictable.

Pretty much how I felt that. Normally I dare to dream but not this time.

Funny how those saying they don't care about England are the most vociferous tonight. I care about England, loads, and am quite gutted tonight.

Not the real one
Being so excited about the Albion and having 25k every week has ment I'm not too bothered about England. I want them to do well against johnny foreigner but it's all about the Seagulls for me.

England won't win anything for at least 25 years. English football is more bothered about the Premiership being "the best in the world" than anything else, and most of you muggy c*unts fall for it. It's not the best in the world and neither the England national team will be. Might be harsh but most of you are part of the problem. f*** the way English football is run, we'll never win f*** all. Might be hard to take but it's the truth. The domestic game in England is part of the problem. BUT ENGLAND NEVER LEARNS. TOO MUCH MONEY, TOO MUCH SHIT FOOTBALL, TOO MUCH SKY PROPAGANDA AND TOO MANY PLASTIC FANS READY TO SWALLOW WHATEVER THE MEDIA SAYS. WE WILL NOT WIN ANYTHING.
